The United Kingdom’s national contest will select a national finalist who will be awarded an expenses paid trip to Stockholm for the international contest. The award will be given for an outstanding project dealing with a water-related issue focusing on local, regional, national or global topics of environmental, scientific, social or technological importance. Pre-university student ages 15 to 20 or a small group of up to three students are eligible to submit a project.
The international Stockholm Junior Water Prize winner receives a £2,500 award and a blue crystal sculpture in the shape of a water droplet.
