Tomorrow's Water is an annual scientific water competition aimed
at pre-university students. The competition encourages educational
projects that are focused towards improving quality of life and/or
the environment through topical water issues such as water
conditions and biodiversity, water resources management, water
protection and conservation, water and wastewater treatment as well
as social issues related to water.

Who Can Enter?
- Individuals or teams of up to 3, aged between 15-20 years.
Students younger than 15 can participate if they are going to be 15
years old by the start of World Water Week, held in August
2012.
Why Should I Participate?
- Tomorrow's Water an opportunity to use a
research-orientated approach, incorporating scientifically accepted
methodologies for experimentation, monitoring, and reporting
results and statistical analyses. It provides experience in
preparing a written report as well as presenting to
judges and the public. School assignments are qualified for entry,
and it also is a valuable CV addition.
What is the Prize?
- The winner will be awarded an all-expenses paid trip to
Stockholm in order to represent the UK at the international
Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) in a one week cultural exchange
program. The student's school or college will also be awarded a
grant of £300.
- The international Stockholm Junior Water Prize winner receives
US $5,000 and an award presented by HRH Crown Princess Victoria of
