Environmental Photographer of the Year 2016 – Prize Winners Announced
We are delighted to announce the winners of the Atkins CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year competition 2016:
Atkins CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year is awarded to Sara Lindström for ‘Wildfire’.
Atkins CIWEM Young Environmental Photographer of the Year is Luke Massey for ‘Poser’.
Atkins CIWEM Environmental Film of the Year is awarded to Sergiu Jiduc for ‘The Karkoram Anomaly Project, Pakistan’. You can view Sergiu’s film here – http://goo.gl/alCnGj
Atkins Global Built Environment Award is presented SL Kumar Shanth for ‘Losing Ground to Manmade Disaster’.
CIWEM Changing Climate Award is presented to Sandra Hoyn for ‘Life Jackets on the Greek Island of Lesbos’.
Pedram Yazdani wins the Forestry Commission England People, Nature and Economy Award 2016 for ‘Sand’.
The winners and shortlisted works can be seen in an exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society until 19th August 2016.
