UDG Scotland SWMP Workshop

The Stirling Highland Hotel, Stirling

This workshop aims to:

• raise the awareness of Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009 Surface Water Management Plans and new SAIFF produced guidance
• build capacity in local authorities & partners
• identify issues & challenges
• work in partnership to agree actions & solutions

The workshop session will be introduced with two presentations, one given by Kirsten Thorburn of SEPA on the requirements, guidance and programme of Scotland Surface Water Management and the other by Elliot Gill on examples and lessons learnt from across the UK.
