Event description

The CIWEM East Anglian branch are delighted to have guest speakers, Jessica Webb, Sarah Noro and Karen Dinucci take part in this lunchtime virtual panel discussion to celebrate World Earth Day 2024. The event aims to help professionals improve their understanding of ‘greenwashing’ within Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks.

Our three speakers will review the history, current frameworks, jargon-busting and certain blind spots that obscure realities; define what constitutes greenwashing and how to spot it; as well as showing what good ESG looks like; and the future of ESG and the role the water sector has to play in developing effective ESG.

There will be time for the audience to pose questions and discuss them amongst the panel in a Q&A session at the end of the panel discussion.

CIWEM members and non-members all welcome to attend this CIWEM East Anglian branch hosted webinar.

About the speakers

Jessica Webb

Jessica Webb is an ESG Analyst and works for KEY ESG. She helps a range of customers to measure, manage and improve their ESG performance. Her skills cover data analysis, project management and event planning. Jess also has experience in waste management and hydrology. She is an ordinary committee member of the East Anglian branch of CIWEM. Her passions include sustainability, running and travelling (sustainably).

Sarah Noro

Sarah Noro is a Policy Officer at CIWEM. She helps improve water and environmental public policies. She earned her stripes in climate advocacy at University College of London whilst doing a degree in molecular biology. Afterwards she worked in IT and ESG, developing a strategy from the ground up for CTS Group. Outside of work she enjoys spending time amongst nature, watching theatre, reading books about social change and environmentalism, though maybe more often she’s cooking and eating tasty food.

Karen Dinucci

Karen Dinucci is an ESG Technical Director at Mott MacDonald. She has 25 years’ practical understanding of the environmental and social effects from project development. Karen’s expertise has been built from a biodiversity specialism, widened over the years by a restless interest to enable sustainable solutions for the environment and people. She uses international best practices and sustainability frameworks for reporting and disclosures. Karen’s extensive portfolio includes major infrastructure and energy schemes in the UK, Central and Eastern Europe, Brazil, Jamaica, Bangladesh, Jordan, Philippines, Thailand, Mauritania, and Ghana.
