Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is pleased to announce the third annual Funding a Green Future event, which has been titled Re:Source. This FREE event will be held at the new Cultural Centre, located at the end of Southend Pier.

The conference brings together organisations in the private and public sectors; from those who are starting their green journey to those who are at the forefront of the UK's transition to a low carbon and more sustainable future. It offers an opportunity for knowledge exchange in relation to green innovative practices, energy saving and cost reduction while working together for a common goal.

The programme is available on the website and the speakers include IBM and British Gas. The afternoon will provide you with two options, a visit to a range of green projects across Southend. Alternatively, there will be a series of short talks at the Cultural Centre by leading figures within the low-carbon and environmental sector including Solar Schools.
