Meeting the Challenges of Waste Water Infrastructure
18 Mar 13
- 18 Mar 13
Water Innovation Network
Peterborough, United Kingdom
At 8am on Christmas Eve 2012, the Environment Agency had issued
13 Flood Warnings and 44 Flood Alerts for the Anglia region, as
some locations experienced a month's rainfall fall in one week.
Extreme weather events are one of a number of causes of sewer
flooding and the impact of climate change makes sewer flooding more
likely but less predictable. Sewer flooding is extremely
distressing for those affected and unacceptable in modern society
which is why this is an area of very high priority and substantial
investment for Anglian Water.
Key Anglian Water managers involved in the management of waste
water infrastructure will be devoting a day to discuss the
challenges of sewer flooding and other issues with the water supply
chain. They want to engage with companies that can work with
Anglian Water to find innovative solutions to help manage the waste
water network and provide Anglian Water's customers with the very
highest levels of service.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to explore the
possibility of providing your solutions to one of the UK's biggest
water companies
