Urban Drainage Group Spring Conference 2017: Strategies for Managing Waste Water Networks and Risk
Wednesday 10th May 2017 9:00am - 5:00pm
The Urban Drainage Group annual spring conference 2017 sees a return to Birmingham and the Midland Engineering Centre. Feedback has confirmed that delegates appreciate a central location. As many travel by train a slightly later start to the day’s proceedings has been put in place. For those requiring a more leisurely start to the day, there are a variety of hotels in the Broad Street and Brindley Place areas.
Registration and coffee will commence at 09.00 with the welcome presentation commencing at 09.25. The programme hosts an array of industry speakers including the 2016 Adam Dean award winner. Members of the Water UK 21st Century Drainage steering group will open the event, giving us an insight into their work on Capacity and where this is pointing the sector. The technical sessions aim to provide a range of interesting and topical titles with a good mix of presentations providing high level awareness on topics at a strategic, higher level and aimed at delivering more general learning points.
The day is a networking precursor to the UDG autumn event. It includes lunch and delegate pack materials. The cost is £160 plus VAT. 6 hours of CPD are also available to interested delegates.
