The Rivers and Coastal Group is one of three specialist subject groups within CIWEM. Formed over 50 years ago, the Group continues to enjoy success.

The Group has over 1000 members who come from the government organisations including the Environment Agency and Scottish Environment Protection Agency, consultants, contractors, local authorities and the academic world. Membership of the group is open to any CIWEM member who is engaged in river or coastal management and new members are always welcome.
