    Legionnaires' disease- exploring the implications of the new HSE ACoP

    An essential update following the new Approved Code of Practice on the control of Legionella from the Health and Safety Executive.   

    A one day conference, discussion and networking opportunity to meet the authors of the ACoP.

    This meeting will explore and debate the new Approved Code of Practice and guidance on regulations from the Health and Safety Executive titled "Legionnaires' disease: The control of legionella bacteria in water systems" (L8), which gives practical advice on how to comply with health and safety law with respect to the control of Legionella bacteria in order to reduce the risk of Legionnaires' Disease. 

    This includes identifying and assessing sources of risk, preparing a scheme to prevent or control risk, implementing, managing and monitoring precautions, keeping records of precautions and appointing a manager to be responsible for others.
