This International Standard demonstrates the ability of CIWEM
Membership Department to consistently provide a service that meets
our customer needs. It also enhances customer satisfaction through
the effective application of membership procedures and processes.
It also demonstrates the striving for a continual improvement which
is regularly monitored by external assessment by the Lloyds
Register Quality Assurance Ltd.
The current certification, awarded to the Membership Department
and the associated processes, is for a two year period with
interim compliance visits checking that the Membership Quality
Management System continues to comply with the requirements of the
standard. This together with regular internal auditing ensures
members and prospective members of a high level and efficient
service at all times
