When I click Login, nothing
happens
OR
I can login but when I click on anything I am returned to the
Login Page.
This is normally caused by cookie security settings on your
browser. Windows XP Service Pack 2 introduces high security
settings for Internet Explorer, and a popup blocker, which are
enabled by default. If you are on corporate network you should
consult your network administrator. Otherwise check the
following:
These instructions apply to Internet Explorer. If you use another
browser you will need to locate the appropriate settings.
* In Internet Explorer, click on Tools -> Options ->
Privacy.
* The slider should be set to Medium High or lower (A lower
setting is not recommended)
* If you have the Pop-Up blocker, click the Settings button, and
enter "members.ciwem.org" (without the quotes), then click Add.
I'm trying to pay my subscriptions
online, but when I click the Pay Now button, I am returned to the
menu?
This is normally caused by pop-up blocker software. The Payment
screen attempts to open in a new window, and many pop-up blockers,
including Google Toolbar, and the Pop-up Blocker in Windows XP
Service Pack 2 will prevent the window from being displayed. To
disable the Pop-Up blocker that Windows XP Service Pack 2 installs,
do the following:
These instructions apply to Internet Explorer. If you use another
browser you will need to locate the appropriate settings.
*Hold down the CTRL button on your keyboard while clicking "Pay
Now".
If this doesn't work:
* In Internet Explorer, click on Tools -> Options ->
Privacy.
* The slider should be set to Medium High or lower (A lower
setting is not recommended)
* If you have the Pop-Up blocker, click the Settings button, and
enter "members.ciwem.org" (without the quotes), then click
Add.
Alternatively you could disable the Pop-Up blocker by unticking
the box.
To disable any other popup blocker software, such as Google
toolbar, Yahoo toolbar, etc. please refer to the instructions
included with the software.
If you still experience problems, please email support@ciwem.org including as
much information about the problem as possible, including the
browser software and operating system you are using.
