Application Deadlines
These are the forthcoming dates for the Professional Board
Meetings at which applications are considered for
CIWEM membership:
28th September 2010 (cut off date for receipt of
applications: 27th August 2010)
25th November 2010 (cut off date for receipt of applications: 25th
October 2010)
The cut off dates as set out above are for fully completed
applications only, any omissions may mean that the application
cannot be assessed at the next meeting of the Professional
Board.
You will be notified by email which meeting your application is
going to. You will also be notified in writing what the
result of each meeting is within 3 weeks of the meeting
date.
Mandatory Competences
Please note - The CIWEM Competences have been carefully mapped
against the requirements of the EC, Science Council and Society for
the Environment. If you are applying for external
registration with any of these bodies we strongly recommend that
you familiarise yourself with their requirements by visiting the

The deadline for applications at Step 1 using the 10 Mandatory
Competences will be the January 2011
meeting. The cut-off date for the meeting will
be the 17th December 2010 and
details of the 2011 Board meeting dates
will be available on the CIWEM website in due course.
