Payments

For NEW Member Applications please send a covering letter stating that you would like to pay by credit card and CIWEM will contact you for card details.
UK Postal Strikes
Please be aware of a potential NATIONAL postal strike in the UK on Thursday 22nd & Friday 23rd October. To comply with the Monday 26th October deadline for applications to be considered by the Professional Board at the November meeting, it would be advisable to contact Royal mail or use other postal providers to ensure that your application reaches us in time.

Notes
The application fee will include Introductory Membership, which will entitle applicants immediate receipt of the Journal, Magazine and Branch mailings. It is the only payment required when submitting an application, with the exception of student grade.
The application fee is only required if a student is in full-time employment.
The higher application fee applies to all applicants seeking registration with external bodies. (e.g. EC(UK), Science Council, Society for the Environment))
Following election, new entrants, with the exception of students, will be charged the annual subscription for their grade of membership, pro rata to the number of complete months of membership in the year. The annual subscription becomes due on 1 January each year.
Professional Review (PR) fee to be paid when the professional review reports are submitted.
The transfer fee is payable on election to a new membership grade. Transfers need not submit an application fee.
Transfer fee from ‘free’ Environmental Partner is £143 for MCIWEM and £192 with any of the external registrations.
