European Network of Environmental Professionals (ENEP)

The European Network of Environmental Professionals (ENEP) was established in 2002 to set up a communication network between environmental professionals in Europe. ENEP is the trading name of the European Federation of Associations of Environmental Professionals (EFAEP). This organization hopes to promote discussion about environmental issues and push for environmental protection across Europe.  ENEP works for unity within its members in order to persuade governments to make environmental registration harmonious throughout the European community. ENEP has members across all sectors of employment including industry, government, environmental services, teaching/research and non-governmental organizations which provide a range of discussion on different environmental topics in an international arena.  In order to account for its members ENEP has set up local and national associations to offer a platform for such discussions and to raise the profile of environmental professionals to an international level.  Through its members ENEP hopes to promote European co-operation, cultivate the exchange of environmental knowledge and contribute to better environmental practice in European countries by helping form environmental legislation.

The 'ENEP Platform' is the online counterpart to ENEP.  The Platform allows its members to input their contact details into an online database so that members can easily contact each other and gives members and clients easy access to a database of environmental professionals.  The Platform hopes to facilitate active discussions of environmental ideas, practices and solutions to environmental issues as well as provide a platform to environmental professionals to present their professional profiles.

The ENEP Platform is the European electronic Network of Environmental Professionals. It is a web portal set up by ENEP where its members can record their contact and professional details and where both members of ENEP and non-members can search for environmental professionals.
