The journal aims to provide content reflecting a balance over a period of time across all environmental disciplines with relevance to research related to floods. A balance will also be struck between theoretical and applied content. Operational, Technical, Scientific and Research papers are all welcome.
Pre-submission English-language editing
Authors for whom English is a second language may choose to have their manuscript professionally edited before submission to improve the English. A list of independent suppliers of editing services can be found at www.blackwellpublishing.com/bauthor/english_language.asp. All services are paid for and arranged by the author, and use of one of these services does not guarantee acceptance or preference for publication.
Reviewer Recruitment
Reviewers with suitable expertise in the subject area of flood risk management are currently being recruited. Reviewers peer-review technical papers to determine their suitability for publication and advise on any necessary amendments or revisions ensuring that papers are credible and accurate. This is a great opportunity to be involved in the work of the institution and be the first to read exciting new research. For more information or to submit your CV for consideration please contact Lauren Goozee, lauren@ciwem.org.
