Everything is connected: CIWEM Presidential Induction

Everything is connected - join us!

2020 has shown us, perhaps more clearly than ever before, how connected we are. The year has also shown us how quickly change can happen. The opportunities to alter the course of some of our global environmental and social challenges are at our fingertips.

As David McHugh welcomed CIWEM's 34th Presdient, Niki Roach, we kicked off Niki's presidential year with a fireside chat all about connectivity and how we can harness the power of interconnectedness to meet the challenges of the climate and ecological emergency. We were joined by cross-sector panel of speakers for an inspiring and passionate discussion. Our goal is to continue that discussion and work together to translate thought into action. Watch the video and read on for how you can join in.

If you missed the event, we still want to hear from you!

We asked our audience "What actions can we take together NOW to meet the challenges of the climate and ecological emergency?" See the ideas generated on the day and join in the discussion on Slido below. We will be collecting ideas until 30th September and updating you here on what actions we are taking together.

Simply click the ADD button on the IDEAS tab to add your idea or click the THUMBS UP to upvote other people's ideas.
