An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified professional in flood and water management to work within the Planning Service at the Isle of Wight Council. The successful candidate will undertake the Isle of Wight’s Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) statutory planning roles; determine applications for land drainage consent; investigate flooding incidents across the Island and liaise with other Risk Management Authorities (RMAs).

Relocation support of up to £8,000 may be available to you if you are moving to the Isle of Wight to take up this role. Alternatively, if you decide to commute to the Isle of Wight daily, you may get your travel costs reimbursed.
