This presentation will cover the development of a novel approach
to treating periodic high nitrate concentrations that occur in nine boreholes
that supply raw water to a single water treatment works.
Starting from the initial investigation phase this talk will track
the development of the solution, underlying problems affecting site capacity
and how the engineering approach has developed throughout the project lifetime.
Delegates will gain an appreciation of how engineering principles have been
applied to deliver an innovative, low-build solution.
Part of the CIWEM Wastewater and Biosolids digital series.
