Getting there
The event will take place at Warrenpoint
Golf Club, Lower Dromore Road, Newry, County Down BT34 3LN. Established in
1893, Warrenpoint Golf Club is an 18-Hole Parkland Course, situated just six
miles from Newry City, and is set in part of the Hall Estate.
The course itself measures
6173 yards in length, located in an area renowned for its natural beauty,
surrounded by the Mourne Mountains on one side and Carlingford Lough on the
other, and is ranked as one of the top parkland courses in Northern Ireland.
Travelling to the venue
As part of CIWEM’s commitment to tackling the climate and ecological emergency we would encourage delegates to use the most environmentally sustainable means of transport possible.
By bus
There are buses which go near the golf course which take about an hour from Newry City Centre.
By car
If you are coming by car, please consider sharing the journey with others to reduce your environmental footprint.
