Come and join the CIWEM Northern Ireland New Members’ Group at this in-person event.

This event will showcase the wide range of work being undertaken by CIWEM Early Careers members in Northern Ireland. It features six presentations by early career professionals, highlighting projects and initiatives across the industry.

You will get the opportunity to meet members of the CIWEM Northern Ireland branch, network with your peers, and find out more about CIWEM.

CIWEM members and non-members are welcome to attend this event.

This event is open to members and non-members of CIWEM.

Please note there is limited capacity at this event. Bookings must be made through 'My CIWEM' using the above booking link. Non-members who have not registered for the MyCIWEM system can create an account on the booking page in order to reserve their place.

About the venue and getting there

The event will take place in the first floor Boardroom of the NIEA Water Management Unit, 17 Antrim Road, Lisburn, BT28 3AL

Travelling to the venue

As part of CIWEM’s commitment to tackling the climate and ecological emergency we would encourage delegates to use the most environmentally sustainable means of transport possible.

Train

Portadown Line from Belfast

Closest Train Station is Lisburn Station (0.4miles away). Exit via the back entrance to N. Circular Road and it is five-minutes’ walk to NIEA.

Bus

Ulsterbus 523 leaves from Belfast Great Northern Mall stop and arrives at Lisburn bus centre (0.5miles away from NIEA). It is five minutes’ walk to NIEA.

Car

If you are coming by car, please consider sharing the journey with others to reduce your environmental footprint.

There is parking available within the WMU. There will be sufficient spaces after 16:00 as people start to leave however there is also a free public car park on Benson Street, which isa four minute walk to NIEA.


As this is an in-person event, please remain vigilant to control the spread of COVID-19 and stay safe. We request that if you think you might have contracted COVID or have recently had the disease, that you do not attend the event.
