Event description

A CIWEM South Western branch hosted workshop aimed at delegates planning to submit their applications for chartership within six months, which will cover the mandatory competencies. We will provide general guidance for writing up any competencies, but also provide support on specific competencies where people may be struggling.

This workshop will be in person and limited to 10 people. There will be a waiting list, but please give as much notice as possible if you can no longer make the event.

The event will start at 6:00pm, so please arrive in good time.

About the venue and getting there

The event will take place at the WSP Offices, Kings Orchard, 1 Queen Street, Bristol BS2 0HQ. The Bristol Temple Meads railway station and National Express (Bristol Coach Station) are within easy walking distance and there are several bus routes run near the offices.

Travelling to the venue

As part of CIWEM’s commitment to tackling the climate and ecological emergency we would encourage delegates to use the most environmentally sustainable means of transport possible.

By Train

Bristol Temple Meads railway station is at Bristol Temple Meads, Redcliffe, Bristol BS1 6QF. Great Western and Cross Country trains all go to Bristol Temple Mead Station for those coming from outside Bristol.

By Bus | Coach

The National Express coach station is at National Express (Bristol Coach Station), Vale House, Cannon St, Bristol BS1 3NU. The no. 3, 672, 7, 8, FAL, M4, T1, T7 and Y1 bus routes run near the WSP offices.

By foot | cycle

The WSP offices are only 10 - 11 minutes’ walk from Bristol Temple Meads railway station and the National Express coach station or 4 minutes cycle ride

By car

If you are coming by car, please consider sharing the journey with others to reduce your environmental footprint.
