Event description

In April 2020 the new Code for Adoption was introduced, and this included the Design and Construction Guidance, the replacement to Sewers for Adoption. This new guidance was a radical departure from Sewers for Adoption in that it incorporated Sustainable Drainage elements as potentially adoptable sewer assets.

So, how has this been received by the industry as a whole, the sewerage companies and developers? This talk will run through the Design and Construction Guidance and its introduction and discuss the implications and the future of adoptable SuDS.

Part of the CIWEM Wastewater and Biosolids digital series.
