Event description

The “Our City, Our River” project is the flood alleviation scheme for the city of Derby, led by Derby City Council in partnership with the Environment Agency. This scheme will provide protection to a significant number of residential and non-residential properties, reducing the 1 in 25 year chance of flooding in the city from the River Derwent.

On our walk along the river, we will look at the how the work is progressing, what has been completed to date, ongoing work and future works to complete the scheme.
