Event description

Chris Steele and Neil Breton from Binnies will share their experience on what “Digital Water” actually means in practice. They will explain where to start, from setting the strategy to practical implementations - sharing the common pitfalls to look out for combined with real-world use cases to achieving tangible value within the water industry.

In particular, Neil will be sharing case studies of how digital approaches can be applied to a wide range of water industry challenges, from leakage and dam monitoring to digital twins of different types of assets. The talk will demonstrate the potential for digital twins to aid in optimisation of asset operation and to expose insights from big data that would otherwise not be accessible. He will also cover challenges associated with digital approaches, and how these can be overcome.
