Jenny Merriman, Natural Capital Technical Lead from WSP, will be joining us to present on the environmental and socio-economic benefits of natural capital and biodiversity net gain. Jenny will discuss how natural capital assessment can be incorporated into everyday decisions to achieve sustainable solutions for the environment, business and society.
Jenny is a specialist in biodiversity conservation, natural capital and ecosystem services assessments with over 10 years’ experience working on conservation projects in the UK and abroad. Jenny joined WSP in Cambridge to lead a new workstream on natural capital. Jenny sits on the Environment Industry Commissions’ Natural Capital Taskforce and supports thought leadership on environmental net gain, natural capital accounting and integrated reporting around the ‘capitals’ concept.
