In this webinar, you will understand the 1D river modelling capabilities of Flood Modeller and when to apply the software to different types of application. The course will allow you to familiarise yourself with the various tools and features within the software, allowing you to build your own 1D river model, run simulations, troubleshoot common modelling issues and interpret results.

Course structure:

You will cover a range of topics through the training, including:

  • Introduction to 1D river modelling
  • Building a 1D river model
  • Running simulations
  • Adding 1D hydraulic structures
  • Sensitivity, calibration and diagnostics
