Event description

Join the CIWEM Republic of Ireland branch along with our colleagues in Engineers Ireland water and environment division for a site visit to the Lough Talt water treatment plant in the morning and followed by a conference in the afternoon.

A bus will take us to Lough Talt for a tour of the water treatment works, where you will learn about some of the innovative solutions used in delivering this critical infrastructure for the North West region.

We will return by bus to the university for lunch and networking. The conference will be in the afternoon where delegates will hear from representatives from academia and industry on a range of topics related to water and the environment.

There will be ample opportunities throughout the day for networking and collaboration, as well as finding out more about upcoming CIWEM events and activities.
