.This webinar provides a review of the first few months since mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain, BNG, has been introduced earlier this year.

We will examine what has gone well so far, challenges faced and where further work may be required. We will also discuss the requirements of local planning authorities, LPAs, for planning applications, what information is needed for planning approval and to clear associated conditions.

The webinar will give an overview of baseline habitat assessment, common pitfalls, and how to maximise BNG within a development project, as well as options for offsite compensation / purchase of units.

CIWEM members and non-members are welcome to join the CIWEM South East branch for this technical talk.

This event is open to members and non-members of CIWEM. The webinar is hosted on the Zoom platform and will be recorded.
