Severn Trent are undertaking a significant project in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire to retrofit sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS) in order to reduce flooding in the catchment. This comprises of over 1,400 separate interventions in the catchment including surface water separation.

At the talk, our speaker, Angus Smith, will provide an introduction to the project and tell us about what the drivers were behind retrofitting the SuDs and the approach undertaken to reduce flooding in the catchment.

This webinar is the first in a series of CIWEM East Midlands branch hosted events on the project. The branch plan to have a site visit later on in the year, followed by an update event in 2024.
