Event Description

CIWEM North Western and North Wales Branch invites you to a talk on the United Utilities Thirlmere Transfer West Cumbria Water Supplies Project, a 100km pipeline scheme designed to ease pressure on environmentally sensitive local water sources and to provide a secure, long term supply for the area.

The talk will focus on the Bridge End to Williamsgate raw water aqueduct scheme awarded to the joint partnership between Farrans Roadbridge and their design partner, Atkins, looking at the project from the perspectives of the client, designer and construction contractor.
