Event description

We are delighted to announce that the annual CIWEM Northern Ireland Question of Knowledge Quiz will be taking place in January 2025.

Brighten up the start to your year by joining us at Ten Square, Belfast to reconnect with colleagues and friends and test your general knowledge.

Following the success of last year's digital speed quiz, we’ve decided to continue using the same format. Every team will have their own tablet at each table with the usual picture and multiple-choice options, with new additions such as fastest finger first!

The format will be similar to our previous quizzes, including:

• Several quiz related prizes on the night

• Bar table service

• Raffle for fantastic prizes

• Winning team receives the coveted CIWEM (Northern Ireland branch) Annual Quiz Shield, engraved with team name


Each team will consist of a maximum of six people on each table at a cost of £120 including VAT per team.

CIWEM members and non-members are welcome. Our quiz is always very popular, so book by Tuesday 14 January 2025 now to avoid disappointment.

Booking and joining information

Please note that there is a maximum of six people per team, so one person from each team should register here.

We will need the person booking the ticket for each team to complete the online survey before the event, so we can make arrangements to accommodate delegates' specific dietary or access needs.

This event is open to both members and non-members. Non-members who have not registered for the CIWEM system can create an account on the booking page in order to reserve their place. This should not take more than two minutes. Please contact Barbara Woods at barbara.woods@ciwem.org if you have any booking queries.

Should you be unable to attend the event after booking your place, please let Barbara Woods know, so your place can be allocated to another delegate.

Please note that registrations close at 9:00am, two working days before the event. If you have not registered by then, unfortunately we cannot add you to the event.

About the venue and getting there

The event will take place at Ten Square Hotel, 10 Donegall Square South, BT1 5JD. The venue is only five minutes’ walk from the Europa train station and several bus routes run near the venue.

Europa railway station is the nearest mainline railway station to Ten Square Hotel.

By Bus | Coach

Buses run to City Hall opposite the venue.

By foot | cycle

Ten Square Hotel is only five minutes’ walk from Europa railway station and bus station respectively and two minutes’ cycle ride.

By car

If you are coming by car, please consider sharing the journey with others to reduce your environmental footprint.
