About the venue and getting there
The Stanton Cup Golf Outing will take place at Bangor Golf Club, (Broadway, BT20 4RH) this year. The course is in easy walking distance of Bangor Bus and Rail Centre and several bus routes run near to the golf club.
The competition will be scored using Dr Frank Stableford’s scoring system. The first tee has been booked from 13:06 to 14:27 and will be allocated in advance.
Travelling to the venue
As part of CIWEM’s commitment to tackling the climate and ecological emergency we would encourage delegates to use the most environmentally sustainable means of transport possible.
By Train
Bangor railway station (BT20 4AE) is the nearest mainline train station to the golf course and is in easy walking distance of the golf course. Northern Ireland trains run from Belfast Grand Central to Bangor for those coming from outside the town.
By Bus
No 3, 302b, and 302d buses run from Bangor Railway Station and the Ulsterbus Bangor Bus and Rail Centre (Abbey Street, BT20 4JA) to the golf course, taking about thirteen minutes.
By foot | cycle
Bangor Golf Course is a seventeen-minute walk and seven-minute cycle ride from Bangor Bus and Rail Centre.
By car
