CIWEM Aotearoa Environmental photography competition | New Zealand branch

Competition details:

Aotearoa is in an interesting time. New Zealanders live in a beautiful country with spectacular scenery, but the environment is facing significant challenges. Whether appreciating the environment with your whanau and pets in your own backyard, or documenting the future of our environment, we encourage people of all ages within our community to share photos to help educate and inspire. The competition is for fun and to share different perspectives of Aotearoa, so please only include photos taken in NZ, but don't feel you can only submit photographs if taken on a fancy camera. Winners will be judged on the story, imagination, and unique perspective of the environment.

• Anyone can enter (you don’t have to be a CIWEM member). Entry is free and open any time between 1st September and 18th October 2020.
• The competition will be judged by an independent panel and winners will be announced via a live webinar on 3rd November 2020.
• One photo will be chosen by the judging panel in each of the categories below, along with one overall winner of CIWEM Aotearoa Environmental photographer of the Year 2020.
• Please submit a maximum of 2 photographs per category.
• Entries are open via Instagram and Twitter using the hashtags from each category. Entries are also accepted via email.
