CIWEM’s Scottish Branch wish to invite you to join them at their biennial Symposium this October. The event will be a day of celebration of the on-going advancements of not only practice and approach in relation to the water and environment sector, but also technologies, and the way we use these to fulfil the new and ever-changing needs of our clients, stakeholders and their communities.
Call for Papers
This ‘call-for-papers’ is an opportunity for you to submit a piece of work on a project, research, innovation or leadership on the theme of ‘advancements in the water environment sector’. Papers are invited on the theme of advancement in one of the following three categories:

3. Drainage and Water
Topics might include the use of new systems, digital technologies or big data; a new approach or alternative to present means of flood risk assessment and/or management, drainage modelling and/or design, BIM and community engagement.Book now
All abstracts should be concise and clearly state the key outcomes, objectives or components of the presentation.
Abstracts should not exceed 500 words and should contain a clear list of intended presenter(s) and email addresses for all involved.
A maximum of two presenters for each paper is allowed.
An electronic copy (in doc format) must be submitted before 5pm on 08 July 2019 to email@example.com.
