Event Description

CIWEM Scottish Branch invites you to the first of their evening talks in 2019 given by Simon Knott, (AEECoW) who will discuss issues that arise when trying to deliver mitigation on construction projects.

Historically, the cost of implementing mitigation during construction outweighs enforcement action penalties, so the planned mitigation may never be delivered. This presentation focuses on the technical and personal challenges associated with implementing construction phase water management and pollution control.
