A key objective of Scottish Water’s Strategic Plan is to deliver a consistently excellent water supply. To support this Scottish Water is developing a water supply risk management system which will include asset capability assessments. These assessments and other tools are being used to identify the requirement for risk controls and associated investment needs to improve water quality, many of which will be subject to the new Investment appraisals approach

The Recast Drinking Water Directive came into force on 12 January 2021 with a 2-year transposition timeframe. This webinar will focus on the new and revised hazards and what they may mean.
