This talk will outline the development of the UK Flood Hydrology Roadmap, how it has defined a 25 year plan for research and innovation, and what actions are now being taken to deliver on the roadmap’s vision. Whilst the roadmap has a focus on flooding, and was developed in the UK context, the talk will also place it against the background broader challenges, identified internationally, in hydrological science and practice.
