The CIWEM Tyne and Humber Branch are looking for abstracts for the 2019 New Generations Competition.
If you are at the start of you career – with 5 years or less industry experience - and work in the water, wastewater or environmental management area then this is a great opportunity to showcase your work, the work of your company or your creative thoughts in this area.
You don’t need to be a CIWEM member to apply!
The branch uses this competition to determine its candidate for the CIWEM Young Environmentalist of the Year, giving you regional and perhaps national recognition. The winner will receive tickets to the CIWEM Tyne & Humber branch annual dinner and awards evening, and the Otter Trophy.
If you're interested in competing, send an abstract of your presentation in no more than 150 words, with your name and details of your employer (where appropriate) to Anna Gee (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The deadline for submissions is 5pm on Friday 31 May 2019.
You will be notified by Wednesday 5th June if you have been successful at the abstract screening stage, giving you time to prepare your presentation.
