04 November 2019 - 06 November 2019
Urban drainage management today: working in partnership to unlock climate resilience and a healthy water environment.
2019 is the 35th year in which CIWEM’s Urban Drainage Group (UDG) has provided quality events for the UK and Ireland Urban Drainage community. The autumn event this year is no exception. Over 3 days there is a carefully curated programme of technical presentations, a series of interactive forums and workshops, all supported by an exhibition showcasing the latest in technology and innovation.
Attended by over 200 industry professionals, the event is the ideal setting for networking, learning and collaboration in addressing the biggest challenges faced by the industry. This industry leading event is equally attractive and beneficial to newcomers and seasoned leaders and managers.
The event commences on Monday 4th November with a workshop in support of CIWEM’s re-write of the Integrated Urban Drainage Modelling Guide, opportunity to liaise with exhibitors and an evening buffet.
On Tuesday 5th November, our technical presentations commence and address areas of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), partnership working, strategic thinking, combined sewer overflows (CSO), water quality and Drainage and Wastewater Management Plans (DWMP). Interactive workshops will explore uncertainty, big data and CIWEM membership.
Tuesday evening sees the gala dinner celebrating 35 years of the Urban Drainage Group and reflecting the host city of Nottingham. The evening will encompass the awarding of the WaPUG prize for those who have made a significant contribution in the field and the Adam Dean award.Book now
