West Country Water and Environment (WCWE) were set up in 2017 to tackle the challenge of finding new sources of water in the West Country to meet the growing demand from customers, communities and businesses. WCWE are working on three large-scale flagship schemes called Strategic Resource Options. These flagship projects will ensure we secure essential water supply for the future.

This webinar will provide an overview of the projects and how they will address future needs in the West Country.

About the speaker

Steve Lanzon | Director | West Country Water & Environment

Steve Lanzon is a Chartered Civil Engineer, with 30 years’ experience in the water industry. He is skilled at directing multi-disciplined teams, ensuring the business delivers an exemplary operational service.

Steve is a knowledgeable engineering leader with a demonstrated history of working in the utilities industry and leading the implementation of the water resources Regional Plan, as well as the delivery of three major infrastructure projects (SROs) across the south west (CAPEX value in excess of £3billion).

This event is open to members and non-members of CIWEM. The webinar is hosted on the Zoom platform and will be recorded.
