Join the CIWEM West Midlands Branch New Members Group to explore a river catchment in Shropshire which has been allocated funding to implement Natural Flood Management to mitigate extreme rainfall events.
The workshop will introduce participants to Natural Flood Management measures and how these are managed from a landowner/regulator point of view.
Russell Rowley, Manager of the Severn Gorge Countryside Trust and the Farm the Flow project, will lead the party with Lucy Crockford as the Academic Tutor.
There will also be an opportunity for a tour of Harper Adams University where networking and discussion of current Natural Flood Management and the integration of such into the peri-urban environment will be hosted.Book now
