Environmental Partners are non-chartered members from any background, including individuals new to the water and environment sector and those with a passion in these areas, who are looking to stay abreast of the latest guidance, developments and independent information. By becoming a CIWEM environmental partner you can help us do more and join a community of thousands dedicated to improving water and environmental management for all.

As an Environmental Partner you will have access to the variety of benefits CIWEM membership has to offer including our industry leading magazine, The Environment, and journals, engaging with our extensive and respected policy and advocacy activities, and networking with our global community of industry leaders, practitioners and decision makers.

Who can join?

This membership grade is open to anyone, including individuals who are new to the industry and are working towards Member (MCIWEM) or Chartership (C.WEM), and those who want to showcase their interest in the water and environment sector.

Joining CIWEM as an environmental partner provides recognition of your commitment to the sector whilst you work towards full membership and chartership, allowing you to engage with your peers and contribute to CIWEM setting the standard for management of our environment and water resources across the globe.

How much does Environmental Partner membership cost?

There is an application fee of £155 (£100 if your organisation is a CIWEM Corporate Member). For Environmental Partners, the application fee includes subscription until the end of the calendar year.

The annual membership fee is £158.

Get involved with our Early Careers Network

Our Early Careers Network is open to all our members who are new to the water and environment industry. Our mission is to connect a diverse pool of water and environment professionals starting out in their careers, typically those who have been in the sector for under five years. The aims of the group are to facilitate a platform of collaboration for networking, career development and most importantly, building the global CIWEM community.

It is a fantastic opportunity to network and socialise with other CIWEM members. We run seminars, workshops and socials.
