Becoming a Member (MCIWEM)

Membership (MCIWEM) is a non-Chartered grade of membership for professionals who are working at an operational level and pursuing a career path in the water and environmental sector. Anyone with at least two years’ experience in the industry and a UK Honours degree (or equivalent) is eligible to apply. However, this may vary depending on each individual's academic and professional experience.

Becoming a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager C.WEM

The C.WEM qualification is the ultimate demonstration of your skill and technical excellence in the field of water and environmental management. It is a specialised grade of membership which demonstrates your skills as an experienced professional, and one that will always be relevant and in demand.

How much does Membership (MCIWEM) cost?

Application fee for Member of £151. (£101 if your organisation is a CIWEM Corporate Member)

Existing CIWEM members will not be required to pay this application fee, but will be billed a transfer fee of £50.

The annual subscription is £200.
