CIWEM announces Business Partnership with Glan Agua



CIWEM is delighted to announce a new Business Partnership with Glan Agua.

Glan Agua is an innovative Design, Build, Operate and Maintain (DBOM) contractor, which provides project solutions for the water and wastewater industry. An award-winning company, based both in the UK and Ireland, currently delivering on a number of procurement frameworks for UK utilities, along with a large number of local authorities and private sector clients. Glan Agua continually investigate new technologies to efficiently manage water resources and the environment on behalf of their clients.

Glan Agua was recently acquired by BHSL, a rapidly growing environmental engineering company providing innovative technological solutions, particularly in generating value from waste. The acquisition will bolster Glan Agua’s offering to the UK and Irish market in both municipal and industrial sectors.


By becoming a Business Partner of CIWEM, Glan Agua are demonstrating a commitment in joining our aim of working towards a safer, more sustainable world. Glan Agua are also putting an emphasis on their employees professional development and aim to utilise this partnership with CIWEM to embed an in-house CIWEM Professional Development Scheme to enrol in. This will create a structured pathway for colleagues at Glan Agua to aim towards professional recognition with CIWEM and ultimately Chartered status.
