The Environment magazine needs your help!
Are you aged under 30 and interested in writing?
Can you introduce CIWEM’s membership to important water and environment issues that affect your community, country or region? We are looking for contributors aged under 30 for a youth takeover of the March 2020 issue.
This is a great opportunity to test your writing skills, to position yourself as a thought-leader in your field – to present the issues that you are passionate about to your professional peers.
The features scheduled for March are career development, air quality and surface water/urban drainage.
But if you have a great idea for another topic, do please surprise us! Please send a one-page outline for the article you’re proposing. What is the subject? What opportunities and challenges will your article address? What different perspective can you bring to the topic.
What interviews/case studies/images would you include? Most importantly – why are you the right person to write this article? Please email your pitch, with the words YOUTH TAKEOVER in the subject line, to arrive by 0900 GMT 02 September at the very latest, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Whether you are studying, actively looking to progress your career, or already extensively experienced, our membership will add value and recognition to your achievements. We can actively help you progress throughout your career.Become a member
