Young Environmentalist of the Year 2022

CIWEM and Jacobs are pleased to present The Young Environmentalist of the Year 2022, with applications now open to inspiring students and early-career professionals active in the water and environmental world.

The annual competition spotlights the next generation of passionate young environmentalists actively working towards positive impacts, by awarding a prize that matches their dedication and enthusiasm. This award will provide them with the platform and tools, as well as networking and mentoring opportunities, to grow the awareness and reach of their ambitious ideas.

The competition is open worldwide until October 31st and is free to enter. Anyone aged under 30 with less than 5 years of professional experience is warmly invited to apply. The Young Environmentalist of the Year winner receives a £1,000 cash prize in addition to a CIWEM Membership bursary (worth ca. £1,000), a CIWEM training gift card worth £500), an all-access ticket to Flood & Coast 2023, and an interview and profile in CIWEM’s Environment Magazine. There are also prizes for runner up positions.
