The Water and Environment Journal is an internationally recognised peer-reviewed journal for the dissemination of innovations and solutions focussed on enhancing water management best practice. The journal provides a conduit between academics and practitioners. We therefore particularly encourage contributions focussed at the interface between academia and industry, which deliver industrially impactful applied research underpinned by scientific evidence. We are keen to attract papers on a broad range of subjects including water and wastewater treatment, water recycling, sludge treatment, water management and much more. Water and Environment Journal is the leading publication in its field, published in print and online. Topics include: air pollution, water management, environmental conservation and policy and legislation. Potential papers are peer reviewed by the Institution’s Editorial Board and external reviewers. The journal is published four times a year, in March, June, September and December. Papers, including illustrations, tables, and references, must not exceed (the equivalent of) approximately 4000 words in length.
